Please bookmark our new blog and keep reading.

There are plenty of operating systems available in the market, but Few will suit perfect for Studying Programming and work with. So I am going to give you some ideas on some best OS to learn Programming.

  • Linux (Ubuntu, Linux mint, Kubuntu and more)
  • MAC OS
  • Microsoft Windows OS

Most of the programmers are always preferred to use Linux for programming because there are no restrictions to modify the OS in your favor and you can find lots of open-source apps and testing tools for programming.
Most importantly Linux OS can run on very low specification hardware. you can run in even on a virtual machine

Minimum Requirements
  • 32-bit Intel® Pentium® 4 or compatible processor running at 2 GHz or greater
  • 512 MB RAM
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA® Quadro™ FX 1100, FX1400, FX540 or ATI FireGL™ V3200, V5100
  • Disk space: 350 MB for client components
  • A DVD-ROM drive

MAC OS is one of the favorite operating system preferred by most of the programmers, because it is simple, easy to use and user friendly, but it can only run smoothly on hardware manufactured Apple computers. You have some other options too, You can use a third party software which is called as  Hackintosh, But you may not be able to experience the smoothness of the OS if you search in google you will find Plenty of articles Regarding HACKINTOSH. I will try to write an article on it soon

Microsoft Windows OS

One of the most commonly known and used OS. I think i don't have much to say about this OS since most of you guys are using it, I hope you know better than me. Share your knowledge with us in the Comments or Mail it to us. it will be soon published as an article If we found it interesting and helpful. Many programmers use Linux to learn to program using a virtual machine in Microsoft Windows, so they will be experiencing both Linux and Windows at the same time.

New update form windows 10  OS WSL -  windows subsystem for Linux
Using this you can run Linux on windows os with complete Linux kernel and no need for any virtual machine to be installed. I think this one the best way to use it

It will help network automation much easier running on WSL 2 (new version).
